Costs

1. PROGRAM FEE

2026 Program Fee: $2,750

The program fee covers pre-arranged expenses such as housing, unlimited metro and bus passes (as needed), museums, field trips, and health insurance. The first $500 is paid as a deposit as part of the initial application process via the OIE portal via a debit card or checking account. The remaining balance will be billed to the student’s bursar account in the summer semester. The program fee is non-refundable for students who are accepted onto the program and pay the deposit. No refunds will be given to students who choose to drop out the program, are deemed ineligible (for disciplinary or academic reasons), or do not receive appropriate visas after being accepted.

2. GT TUITION AND FEES

2026 In-state Tuition and Fees (9 credits): ~$3,260
Tuition is assessed based on residency, matriculation term and program type as outlined on the following page: Financial Information & Resources | Office of International Education.  Tuition rates are posted by the GT Bursar for students based on term, level of study and degree. Those receiving HOPE scholarship can apply it to tuition while studying abroad. All students are required to pay the Institute’s regular technology fee and USG Institutional Fee.

3. AIRFARE

Roundtrip Airfare: Average $1600 (varies)

Students are responsible for their own airfare and transportation to and from the airport. Typical airfare from Atlanta to London with a return from Liverpool to Atlanta ranges from $1,000 – $2,000 and transportation to the airport or train station can be arranged by the student starting at around $12 each way. Students are encouraged to plan early to secure the best flight deals. Students should not purchase airfare until they have been confirmed into the program.

4. ATLANTA EXPENSES

Expenses: varies

Students are responsible for all expenses, including housing, during the Atlanta portions of the course. Students must arrange their own housing while studying in Atlanta.

5. PERSONAL EXPENSES IN LONDON

Expenses: varies

Students are responsible for most lunches and dinners as well as other personal expenses. Kitchens are available at the accommodation to prepare meals in an economic fashion or maps of inexpensive restaurants in the area will be provided. Individual students may spend more or less on the following items: meals, entertainment, souvenirs, travel insurance, data plans, weekend trips, etc. The instructors recommend that students make a budget for their expenses in their planning phase.
